Top 7 Retired APC Governors That May be Tinubu's ministers
A Leadership report has identified a few departing All Progressives Congress (APC) governors who could join the government before Bola Tinubu's May 29 inauguration.
1. Governor Nasir El-Rufai
After handing over to Sani Musa on May 29, Governor Nasir El-Rufai seemed to have lost interest in holding any kind of public office, but there are signs that Tinubu wants the governor of Kaduna state to be a part of his administration.
A political ally of the governor, who did not wish to be named, reportedly told Leadership that the incoming Tinubu administration had already planned to appoint El-Rufai to a federal position.
2. Kayode Fayemi
Kayode Fayemi, a former governor of the state of Ekiti, might possibly join Tinubu's government.
