Ganduje Must Be Replace To Yahaya Bello As APC Chairman.

It has been claimed that Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has made a calculated decision to unseat All Progressives Congress national chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (APC).

This comes after long-simmering dissatisfaction among influential APC members in Ganduje's home district of North Central, where Senator Abdullahi Adamu was born.

Stakeholders who contend that the party's constitution requires that Senator Adamu's replacement should have come from the North Central zone are opposing Ganduje, who took up the role following Senator Adamu's dismissal due to internal dispute.

APC insiders have revealed that Kogi State Governor Bello, whose eight-year term is coming to an end, is presenting himself as Ganduje's likely successor.

The decision is viewed as a reaction to criticism of Ganduje's administration, with detractors citing alleged discrepancies in appointments that favour the North West zone.

Notable party chieftain Jackson Lekan Ojo revealed the internal strife in an interview with Daily Trust.

It's absolutely accurate. It ceases to be a rumour if the general public perceives it as such. There are strong attempts to remove Ganduje. The scheduling was uneven. The two ministers of defence came from Ganduje's home region in the North West.

The Deputy Senate President came from that same zone. The House of Representatives speaker was elected from within the same zone. It also gained the party's national chairperson.

There were a lot of disagreements at first. For many APC members, including principalities, powerful individuals, and groups, Ganduje was not their preferred candidate. Ganduje was essentially imposed by Mr. President due of their political ties.

If Ganduje were to prove to be a hindrance to Mr. President in 2027, he ought to be able to be sacrificed by him now.

"Ganduje is unable to withstand this. He was imposed by Mr. President from the start, and an imposition that does not gain the support of a large number of people will not endure. The previous president imposed Abdullahi Adamu. Was he ever there? There was an oMISORE. Was he ever there? So let's use caution.

The goal is to remove Ganduje from power prior to the 2019 general elections, according to a second insider who begged to remain anonymous. There are already plans in place to eject him. In politics, nothing is impossible. This cannot be ruled out.

Dockaysworld learned that although there had been speculation up until now that Governor Bello intended to become the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, a new ruler has already taken the throne in the town.
